Indigo is a magical plant that gives vibrant and beautiful blue colors in textile. The natural dye and textile artist Beste Bonnard will be speaking about some history and tradition while showing how to set up your own natural Indigo vat. 

We will explore different shades of indigo. All the steps will be precise to create light and wash fast blue color using indigo plants and non toxic natural method.

After some fun exploration and experimentation you will dye your final piece to take home. We will talk Indigo's plants and trustable source of indigo pigments.

All the materials will be provided and you will leave with a scarf and all the samples we made in class. You are also welcome to wear comfortable clothes, shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Workshop fee: 110€/person - incl all the materials
