This time on Paper....

We welcome natural dye artist best Bonnard on a weekday evening, right after work to create amazing prints on paper.

Ecoprint is a natural dye technique where the colour of the leaf is directly printed onto the fabric.

In this workshop you will learn about equipments, papers, plants, mordants, processes and techniques that create artful papers.

We will explore different techniques to work with papers and how to mordant them and which leaf to choose for the best results. Entire process is a sustainable and renewable art form.

Also collecting leaves on a beautiful day, printing them onto silk or paper, in the end, creating a beautiful, unique surprise from Nature is a wonderful experience.

Her inspiration comes from plants and small natural objects she collects on her walks with her family and in her garden. These fragile imprints of nature provide her with a rich visual vocabulary, endless shapes and colors. She says: "I work in the solitude of my studio and this peaceful loneliness gives me the perfect stage to work with plants. Sometimes in the silence there is moment of harmony when plants and I understand each other perfectly, both of us know exactly what the other wants to do. "
